Hollywood Brown is a musician and singer from Birmingham (UK) who creates authentic 80s-inspired retro glam metal and rock, taking you back to the Sunset Strip haydays of catchy headbangers with blistering guitar solos, thundering rhythms, and huge synths!
Immersed in 80s music, culture, and fashion from an early age, he invites you on a journey to an imaginary nightclub where it's always 1985...
Hollywood has fronted several bands, and previously supported 80s legends 'Heaven 17' and 'Blancmange'. He plays the guitar, bass, and keyboards, and writes and produces all his own music using vintage instruments and techniques of the era. He loves hair metal, funk, and pop, and is influenced by legendary icons like Def Leppard, Billy Idol, Prince, Duran Duran, Eddie Van Halen, Ozzy, Dokken, Ratt, Motley Crue, WASP, Alice Cooper, Cyndi Lauper, and Nile Rodgers.
In 2024 Hollywood Brown signed with UK indie label FiloFX Records. 2025 saw the release of his first full-length album "Reverberator", as well as a live support slot with popular synthwave act 'LeBrock'.
